Encounter 1 - Crucible Chamber (Painted)

The lava pieces have a nice texture that really sells the hellish vibe, and the Infernal Altar is a fantastic centerpiece. I set up the Crucible Chamber in about 10 minutes and was surprised by how sturdy the walls feel once assembled.

The 26 pieces fit together snugly enough that I didn’t need any glue, and the lava floors have a nice glossy sheen that catches light well. I just wish the walls came with a few more straight sections for larger layouts, but the altar and core room build out solidly for a first session.

The Infernal Altar is the standout piece here—it’s got real presence even in a small room build. My only gripe is the paint job is a bit glossy on the lava edges, but the 26-piece count feels solid for the price.
