The single stalagmite is a nice touch for a starter set, but I really appreciate that you get enough floor tiles to actually build a decent-sized cave network right out of the box.

The walls and floors fit together so snugly that I barely needed any glue to prop up a multi-room layout, and that single stalagmite adds just enough character without clutter. I've already run two sessions with it and the pieces show zero wear from constant rearranging.

I was hoping for a few more stalagmites to add variety, but the number of walls and floors included is great for making several small caves at once. It's a solid foundation set for the price.
