The unpainted surfaces pick up drybrushing beautifully, and the organic, uneven ledges finally let me build elevations that don’t look like a stack of boxes. I spent an evening just rearranging the pieces into different cliff faces before I even started painting.

The varied heights and jagged edges give my tabletop cliffs a much more organic feel than uniform blocks, and the Dwarvenite has a satisfying heft that stays put mid-game. I spent a whole afternoon just dry-fitting different arrangements and found a dozen natural-looking combos for my mountain pass.

These cliff ledges fit together so well that I built a multi-level encounter in minutes. The rough, uneven edges on the Dwarvenite give the elevation a really natural stone look.
