I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the unpainted gables are—the Dwarvenite has a nice heft without being too heavy. The terracotta ones have a distinct texture that takes paint really well, which saved me time on prep work.

The slate gables have that nice rough texture that takes paint really well, and the terracotta ones give my roof a warm pop of color once I finished them. They fit flush against the walls with no gaps, so my tavern build finally looks complete.

I was a bit unsure about painting these myself, but the slate and terracotta gables match the unpainted look perfectly for adding roof variety. The four of each provide just enough to finish a building without being overwhelming.
