These stairs click together so solidly that I built a whole tower in one sitting without a single wobble. The painted stonework has a nice drybrush highlight that makes the edges pop under tabletop lighting.

The paint job on these stairs is genuinely nice—the shading makes the gray stone pop in a way that photos don't do justice. I grabbed them knowing they'll retire soon, so it's good to have the full 36 pieces locked in for future builds.

The 36-piece count is spot on for what I needed to finish my stair build, and the painted finish looks clean right out of the box. Glad I caught it before it was retired, since the replacement set sounds different.
