The armored shutters over the arbalest are the detail that won me over—they actually flip open and shut, which makes the whole piece feel alive. The unpainted stone gives it a rugged, ready-for-primer look that I’m excited to customize.

The stairs on the back are what sold me—they make it so easy to get minis up to the ramparts without any fiddly ladder placement. The machicolated battlements have real weight to them, and I love that the arbalest is already tucked behind the armored shutters, ready for a siege scene.

The armored shutters on the battlements click into place nicely, giving the tower a solid, defensible feel. I just wish it came painted, as the bare Dwarvenite needs a bit of work to match my other pieces. Still, the detailed arbalest and back stairs make it a fun addition to the castle layout.
