The fit is seamless, so my old caverns pieces finally line up flush with the new magma river tiles without any awkward gaps. It’s a small set, but it solves the exact compatibility headache I had, and the unpainted dwarvenite takes paint really well for a quick drybrush.

Finally got my lava river transition pack and it seamlessly bridges the old caverns tiles with the new magma river set. The unpainted finish is fine since I plan to customize the color scheme anyway. Only small gripe is the fit could be a tad snugger on the Terrain Tray side.
