Running these unpainted escarpments along my table for a canyon map, and they lock together perfectly for a long, stable cliff line. The crag step makes it actually possible for minis to climb without fumbling around.

The crag step is such a smart touch, my players actually used it to climb the rock face instead of just grumbling about the height. Long straight runs finally look natural instead of like stacked bricks. Painting them up takes a bit of drybrushing but the texture grabs it well.
