The mix-and-match inserts give me so many options for a single encounter—swap the trapdoor styles between sessions and the players never know what to expect. The texture patches underneath add just enough visual variety to sell the illusion of worn stone.

I set these up in a dungeon crawl last weekend and the different trapdoor inserts added a great surprise element for my players. The dwarvenite texture patches underneath look really solid once you get them placed right.
