Volets rustiques ouverts - insert de fenêtre (non peint)

The mounting tabs are precisely cut so these slid right into my window frames without any sanding or fuss. I primed them in about ten minutes and the raw MDF took the paint really well. They're going to look fantastic once installed on the tavern build.

The wood grain texture on these shutter inserts picks up a drybrush beautifully, so they'll blend right into a tavern or stable wall. I got them for a village market stall and the open slats let me stack goods behind them without losing detail.

The unpainted finish is a nice blank slate, and the rustic wood texture on the shutter actually has decent depth for drybrushing. I just wish it came with a small base or peg to make it easier to slot into a wall gap, but it fits my village builds fine once I glue a tiny magnet on.
