I built a multi-level cave system with these and the elevation pieces hold together really well without sliding around. The Dwarvenite feels solid and the unpainted surface makes it easy to customize the shadows.

The negative space in these pieces makes it so easy to stack elevation and create winding cave passages that actually feel deep and menacing. I've already built three different layouts and the unpainted dwarvenite takes paint surprisingly well, so my custom washes really pop.
