Encounter 02 - Prison Passage (Painted)

The painted detail on those crude wooden bars really sells the desperation of the scene — the shadows and wood grain pull you right into the escape attempt. I've got it set up at the end of a tunnel in my campaign and the cry-for-help vibe has my players on edge every time.

The wooden bars on the Prison Passage set look wonderfully grimy and fit perfectly into my cavern layout. I was surprised how quickly the 26 pieces setup into a complete, playable encounter for our game night.

The 26 pieces fit together well enough, but the paint job feels a bit rushed in spots—the wooden bars look great from a distance, yet up close you can see some uneven shading. Still, it’s a solid add to the collection if you’re okay with a little touch-up work.
