Encounter 12 - Ice Catacomb (Unpainted)

The frozen bodies trapped in the walls add so much grim storytelling potential, and the obelisk’s glow really pops once you’ve got a light under it. I spent a solid hour just rearranging the ice tiles to frame that arcane centerpiece.

The ice crystals on the obelisk are incredibly detailed and catch the light beautifully, making this set pop on the table. My players were immediately drawn in by the frozen bodies in the walls. It's a perfect centerpiece for any arctic dungeon crawl.

Actually got this for a frost-themed encounter and the crystal obelisk detail is what sold me—it gives off exactly the right eerie glow in the setup. The unpainted surface lets me add my own ice highlights, which was a fun afternoon project.
