Apex Primordial (ongeverfd)

The scale is incredible — at nearly 6 inches tall, it towers over my other forest minis and makes for an imposing centerpiece. The sculpted bark texture on the arms gave me plenty of detail to work with when painting.

Painted it up over a weekend and the bark texture took a drybrush beautifully, no primer needed. At almost 6 inches tall it towers over my other forest minis, which is exactly the presence I wanted for the boss encounter.

The detail on this thing is wild once you actually get it in your hands — the bark texture and the way the roots twist into the base make it feel like it grew there. At almost 6" tall it towers over my regular forest minis, which is exactly the presence I wanted for a boss encounter.
