Hangende runenamulet (ongeschilderd)

Finally got this to hang properly on my castle wall and the runic carving really pops against the gray stone. The unpainted surface has just enough texture to catch a drybrush wash beautifully.

This unpainted ward fits perfectly into my castle build, and the hanging detail adds just the right amount of flavor to a plain wall. I like that I can finish it myself to match my other pieces, though it’s a bit small so placement takes some planning.

The runic detail on this piece is nicely crisp and should pop well after painting. I do wish it came with a small mounting bracket, as it took a bit of fiddling to hang securely on my castle walls. Still, it adds a nice magical touch to the layout.
