I set this piece on my gaming table unpainted and was surprised how well it stands on its own without support. The freestanding design saved me setup time, and the natural rock face has nice varied depth.

The stone texture has just enough detail to take a wash easily, and it sits perfectly flat on the table without wobbling. I'm using it as a free-standing arch in a forest cave setup, and it blends right in.

Finally got this unpainted piece for my modular terrain collection and the freestanding design is genius—it stays put even during intense gaming sessions. The detailed rock texture is perfect for adding my own paint scheme without any pre-existing finish getting in the way.
