Pokorny Paint Colours are Dwarven Forge's own water-based acrylic paint.  They were formulated by our founder, Stefan Pokorny, to achieve the optimal viscosity for painting Dwarvenite terrain. They don't need to be diluted, which waters down the pigments -- and you don't need to prime your pieces. Please just shake each generous 4 oz bottle before each use.

Aurora Z. ★★★★★

The water-based formula flows beautifully right out of the bottle and settles into recesses without pooling on the flat surfaces. I've been using it straight from the dropper for terrain details and it covers in one coat over the grey base.

Jason ★★★★☆

The coverage is solid on the first coat for detailed terrain pieces, though I wish the pot had a bit more paint for the price. It thins nicely with water without losing pigment strength.

Chloe I. ★★★★☆

The consistency is spot on for Dwarvenite—it flows off the brush without pooling in the crevices. I just wish the bottle had a dropper tip, since the wide opening makes it easy to over-pour when I'm mixing small batches.
