Encounter 15: Shrine of Sysuul (Unpainted)

The unpainted dwarvenite captures every crack and glyph on the shattered altar beautifully, so the forbidden god vibes really come through once you add a drybrush. I spent an evening just picking out the dust details with a wash, and it’s already my favorite encounter piece on the table.

The modular shrine pieces fit together much better than I expected, no gaps or wobbling. I wish the altar piece had a bit more surface detail to paint, but the dwarvenite itself feels solid. For the price per piece, this is a great value terrain set.

The shrine’s ruined altar and ancient god motif are perfectly grim, adding serious atmosphere to my dungeon setup. I just wish the grey Dwarvenite came with a bit more surface detail to make painting easier.
