The unpainted surface actually makes the "weathered stone" pop more once you dry-brush it, and the blocks lock together solidly for a multi-tier cliff. I used them as a raised forest ridge for a skirmish game and the build felt sturdy after an hour of play.

The texture on these blocks is perfect for creating a rugged cliffside—each piece feels like real weathered stone. I used them to build a raised plateau for my campaign, and they stack securely without any shifting. Exactly the look I needed for a high-altitude fortress ruin.

I picked up two sets to build a ruined tower foundation for a diorama. The blocks are larger than I expected, and the weathered stone surface has a nice tactile grip. They don't lock together perfectly, but for unpainted terrain, they stack well enough to create solid raised areas.
